These are the Components of Global VIDA Language Arts- Reading Continuous Professional Education, CPE:
Valid: competence to captivate students’ attention, maintain a high levels of engagement and relevance, thus promoting self-motivation and interest.
Integrated: ability to connect concepts through reading across all content areas and integrate differentiated strategies based on students’ second language proficiency levels in all 4 domains: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Didactic: purposeful objectives and 100% learning intended through inquiry, collaboration, partnerships form among students, classrooms, grade levels, sites, families, and each community they represent.
Approach: our make-n-take hands-on experience can be easily replicated in the participants’ classroom to ensure high levels of implementation.
